What is Christian Counseling?
We offer a unique combination of clinical psychology and Christian theology to provide holistic therapy to our clients. The goal of Christian counseling is to use faith-based concepts and psychological principles to help people better manage and/or resolve any issues in their lives. More specifically, our counselors not only assess, diagnose, and treat mental illnesses, they also teach clients coping skills, so they can better adjust to any changes that may occur in their lives.
What If I Don't Want Faith-Based Counseling?
At New Creation you are in control of your sessions. If you prefer your counselor not incorporate the theology piece into your therapy, you may advocate that at any time and they will adapt to your preference. Our goal is for you to be as comfortable as possible.
Who Can Be Seen At New Creation?
Anyone.
We happily see clients up to age 64 for medication management. If what you are experiencing is beyond our level of care, we will assist you with getting the help you need through an appropriate source (i.e. current substance abuse, acute psychosis, etc.).
We want all of our clients to be comfortable and choose the type of counseling that is appropriate for them.
We are offering both in-person and telecounseling appointments to all clients.

Compromise Prompts Patient Notification
New Creation Counseling Center Offers Free Credit Monitoring and Ongoing Support
April 12, 2022: New Creations Counseling Center (“NCCC”) is not only committed to affordable mental health counseling and psychiatric care to all faith-orientations, genders, ethnicities and races but also committed to maintaining the privacy and security of protected health care information.
February 13, 2022: Unfortunately, on February 13, 2022 NCCC was a victim of a ransomware attack. In response NCCC immediately shut down the network and launched an investigation. NCCC engaged and is currently working with a group of outside cyber security and IT solution experts. The ransomware has been eradicated and we are continuing to see patients. While the IT forensic expert found no forensic evidence to support that any data was taken, NCCC is offering one year of credit monitoring to its patients.
The information in the NCCC data base included names, telephone numbers, address, email, birthdates, social security numbers, health insurance information, intake forms, medical releases, and treatment records. NCCC began notifying its affected patients today.
NCCC is working to enhance it security systems so that a similar incident does not occur again and is looking forward to continuing to provide counseling services to the Ohio communities it currently serves.
