Amy Bracken is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Educational background includes a BA in Psychology and a MS. Ed from University of Dayton in Counseling. Areas of competency include Mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, Trauma, Boundaries/Codependency/ Relationship skills, and AOD issues as well as working with those in relationships with addicts. She is working towards her independent licensure and pursuing further training in trauma treatment. Her preference is to work with women, ages 15 and up for individual counseling.
Nate is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He holds a Master of Arts of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. Nate is trained in Prepare/Enrich, a marriage enrichment program, and is currently completing related training through The Gottman Institute. In addition to couples counseling, Nate has special interests in treating mood disorders and trauma. He is a member of the American Counseling Association.
John served as the Director of New Creation from 1995 to 2017. John formerly was the Executive Director of the Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services, and had been manager of mental health services for the Montgomery Co. ADAMHS Board. John also gives consultation about pastoral care and counseling for Ginghamsburg Church. John has been in the field of mental health since 1973. John has been married to his wife Deb for 41 years, and they have two grown children.
Victoria Kettering is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Wright State University. She has over 17 years experience working with children and families as well as working with adults. Vicky specializes in parent training, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and play therapy.
David is a Licensed Psychologist who was in practice in community mental health for over 35 years. In addition, he was involved in some limited private practice at various times in his career and also worked for three years in the behavioral health department of an integrated medical practice in an adjoining county. He is currently employed full-time at New Creation Counseling Center after having worked here on a part-time basis for almost 20 years. He has vast experience working with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. David is affiliated with Stillwater United Methodist Church in Dayton.
Charlotte Wells is a Licensed Social Worker. She received her Bachelors degree from Wright State University and went on to obtain her Masters of Arts degree in Social Work through the Greater Miami Valley Joint MASW program with Miami and Wright State University. Charlotte recently returned to New Creation after working at the Area Agency on Aging. Her primary interests are working with high school students and young adults.
Jill is a Licensed Social Worker with a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health counseling from the University of Dayton. Jill’s experience encompasses many aspects of marriage and family counseling including parenting, adoption, divorce, reconciliation, abuse, children’s issues and angry teens. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Deborah is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 29 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She has a Bachelors of Social Work from Indiana State University, a Masters of Science in Counseling from Wright State University and received her clinical endorsement from Liberty University. Deborah specializes in childhood and adolescent disorders, adult mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, grief and abuse recovery, couple concerns as well as personal growth needs. She is an active member of First Baptist Church in Vandalia.
Chelsea is a Physician Assistant and serves as part of New Creation's psychiatry team. She sees clients 18-64* for medication management at our Tipp City office. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from University of the Cumberlands in 2019.
*We advise clients age 65+ to seek the care of a psychiatrist with a geriatric specialty.
